Where To Buy
The Arrow from Bolton Technical
Bolton Technical's The Arrow LPDA Antenna : Unboxing and Testing

The Arrow: a true cellular LPDA. This hits the sweet spot for most people: excellent range, great price, simple to install on any roof, and it won’t look out of place next to your mom’s TV antenna. Gotta keep that HOA happy.

Take one glance at The Arrow, and you’ll know where the name comes from. It’s like a giant arrowhead. These kinds of naming conventions are analogous – in this case, we’re only caring about how it looks.

The Arrow may share a name with a pointy shaft and a DC superhero with a long-running TV show, but it is a hero of a decidedly different nature. A more practical, visible one: it brings stronger cell signal into your home or building.

The Arrow provides nearly double the power and range of a typical yagi antenna. It strikes a balance between power, range, and ease of install even if the tower is over 5 miles away. The maximum of +12 dBi of gain will give you the boost of signal strength your system needs in weak signal areas. It covers the full range of 4G, LTE, and 3G cellular bands, including all carriers worldwide.

While its 30° directional beam needs to be pointed at the nearest cell tower, its arrow-shaped design allows for simple sight aiming. The Arrow will never seem out of place on any rooftop or façade, so homeowners can rest easy. Compatible with 50 Ohm coaxial cable, the Arrow has an N-Female Male termination.

The Bolton Technical Arrow works with all cell phone signal boosters (weBoost, SureCall, Cel-Fi, etc.), and cellular hotspots (Pepwave, MoFi, Netgear Nighthawk, etc).

This is an after -market accessory that will help boost your signal, but is not mandatory.

You have questions. We have answers.

When Should I Buy the Arrow?

The Arrow is a more expensive cellular antenna than a typical yagi, but less powerful than the Bolton Long Ranger. It is best used in areas with weak cellular signal or difficult terrain, where its directionality can be its best asset.

Importantly, you should be sure your system can handle the increased gain of The Arrow. For example, if you live in a strong signal area and don’t have a system with automatic gain control, there is a risk of signal overload using high-gain antennas.

What Kinds of Signal Does the Arrow Capture? What Radio Bandwidths?

The Arrow captures any signal between the 698-2700 MHz bandwidths. That includes all 4G/LTE/3G cellular signals. This covers all US carriers (AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, U.S. Cellular and more), Canadian carriers (Rogers, Bell, Telus, more), Mexican carriers (Telcel, Movistar, AT&T Mexico), and far more.

What Does dB Mean? What About Gain?

dB refers to the power gain of the antenna, and the higher the number, the more powerful the antenna. As dB is measured on a logarithmic scale, every +3 dB represents a doubling of the power gain.

What Does dB Mean? What About Gain?

The Arrow will work with ANY cellular carrier. This includes all American carriers (Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, U.S. Cellular and more), Canadian carriers (Rogers, Bell, Telus, more), Mexican (Telcel, Movistar, AT&T Mexico), and far more. If you need cellular brought into a building, the Arrow will do it, no matter where you live and what carrier you use, even if it is not specifically listed here.

Will the Arrow Work with My Carrier?

The Arrow will work on any US or Canadian carrier, as well as most cellular carriers worldwide. If you are not sure your country’s carrier will work with The Arrow, verify whether your service falls within the 698-2700 MHz bandwidth, and if so, it will work.
